Random Thoughts

If you’re embarrassed enough of the song you’re listening to that you have to roll you car windows up, you shouldn’t be listening to that song. This happened to me last week.

How did Rays 3B Evan Longoria make it into the All-Star game by a fan vote? I could go with the standard “they thought they were voting for Eva” joke, but that’s been overdone. I guess this is the one advantage of having no fans show up to your games, they’re all at home voting on the internet.

The ESPYs was hilarious. Justin Timberlake was surprisingly funny and prepared although he took the “I’m pissed because Memphis choked away the national championship game” shtick a little far, especially because I’m sure he didn’t follow the team before Calipari got there. Will Ferrell continues to support his “I’m best in small doses but can’t be a lead actor anymore” routine. Sophia Bush’s voice sounds like she wants in on the Jenna Jameson movie.

This week in absurd Comcast movie ratings:
Spy Kids 3 **
Malibu’s Most Wanted **
Van Wilder *
Grandma’s Boy *

How are Spy Kids 3 and Malibu’s Most Wanted in any way better than Van Wilder and Grandma’s Boy?

What song were you listening to? I know you're embarrassed of the song, but you can't post it in your blog and then not come clean.
